For example, with DoorLoop, when a tenant submits a maintenance request (e.g., "My toilet is leaking") through the tenant portal, our AI will soon recommend troubleshooting steps to the tenant and potentially auto-create a work order, assign it to a vendor, and keep everyone informed. Currently, DoorLoop allows tenants to submit requests, which can be assigned to vendors, and updates can be tracked. Automating vendor follow-ups is a future goal. Tools like Rebump can help with email follow-ups. However, many vendors prefer phone or text.
