Does the security deposit including pet deposit capped to one month in other states beside California?

You said California caps the security deposit to one month. Maryland has done this. And it includes the pet deposit. Is this a trend? I'm in Virginia also with a two-month cap, and this would be a problem.

I'm absolutely seeing that in multiple states. California is not the only one where there are limitations now for security deposits, including the pet, you know, deposit, pet fee, whatever you want to call it. But that's a whole other portion here of some of the laws that are coming up and addressing pet fees. So certainly it is happening more and more in other states, and I don't expect that to stop anytime soon.
