No, the eviction would be based on the tenant not paying. So if you're asking for a rent increase, that's like a separate agreement with Section 8 as far as I understand. So, yeah. not a reason to evict the tenant, but it is, I know, one of the reasons why Section 8 can be a little frustrating to work with because they're usually basing it off of, like, market rate rent, and so that can vary and take some time to get approved.
