Yes, you are. So usually when there is a lawsuit from the tenant's side, they're going to go after anyone who's involved. And so even if you're not directly the one saying it, you're hiring the property management company that is, there is some form of liability, you are probably going to be in that lawsuit. So it's definitely important to make sure that your property managers are properly trained, that you feel confident that they're saying everything that they should be and that they're not violating any fair housing laws.
